Who we are
This policy covers https://openguitarchords.com. We are a free reference site for guitar chords, song sheets and lessons.
What we collect
Practically nothing. Open Guitar Chords is a static website: it has no user accounts, no comment database and no form that stores personal data. Your browser makes normal HTTP requests, which any web server logs at a technical level (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and diagnostics. We do not use those logs to build user profiles.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Audio playback and search run entirely in your browser.
Third-party services
We self-host fonts and images and do not embed third-party trackers. If advertising or analytics are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated first and you will be able to manage consent through standard mechanisms.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you have rights over your personal data under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. Since we hold no personal data beyond raw server logs, there is generally nothing to exercise those rights against — but contact us through the site's public channels and we will respond.
